Global Relay is a leading provider of enterprise information archiving solutions, and we are seeking a skilled DevOps engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps professional with expertise in Jenkins, Kubernetes, and containerization tools. The successful candidate will design and implement flexible CI/CD pipelines that support multiple languages and build systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines developed in Groovy.
  • Ensure pipeline flexibility and support for multiple languages, frameworks, and related build systems.
  • Leverage containerization tools like Docker, Podman, and Mirantis.
  • Implement testing and deployment stages for quality assurance and fast feedback.
  • Deploy microservices to Kubernetes using Helm and deployment models like canary, rolling, and blue/green.
  • Automate Jenkins infrastructure for scalability, stability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot issues with development teams to resolve them efficiently.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve software development lifecycle and pipeline implementations.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps.

Your Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in CI/CD DevOps or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Jenkins and Jenkins Pipelines developed in Groovy running on Linux.
  • Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
  • Experience deploying microservices to production.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, Maven, Gradle, Node, .NET Core, and pip.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $92,500 - $185,000 CAD per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include corporate bonuses, extended health benefits, RRSP matching, and commission structures for applicable sales roles.
