About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at Atelier Fabmec inc. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair work on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Construct foundations for machinery and equipment, and perform tasks such as detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, and install and maintain machinery and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve maintenance and repair goals, and provide excellent oral communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification or equivalent experience.
  • Hoisting and Rigging Training and Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and experience with welding techniques, including oxy-acetylene welding (OAW) and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW).
  • Excellent physical abilities, including the ability to handle heavy loads, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
