Job Summary:The Health Care Aide will provide direct client care, assisting with activities of daily living, and promoting independence and optimal health. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring.
- Assist with medication management and administration.
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to healthcare team.
- Participate in client care planning and implementation.
- Grade 10 education, Manitoba standards.
- Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Aide course.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Training and/or maintenance of competence.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Health Care Aide will work in a variety of settings, including community, healthcare centers, and hospitals. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
