Heavy Duty Snowplough Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Snowplough Operator to join our team at Emcon Services Inc.
About the JobThis is a permanent full-time position that requires operating heavy-duty snowplough equipment in various weather conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safe road conditions, ensuring efficient snow removal, and adhering to all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining and operating heavy-duty snowplough equipment, including checking lubrication, fuel levels, and performing routine maintenance tasks
- Ensuring safe road conditions by clearing snow and ice from highways and roads
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment and following standard operating procedures
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly
- Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge
- AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement
- Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) and Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
- DZ class license and Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Valid driver's licence and clean driving record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in cold, hot, noisy, odorous, and wet/damp environments
- Willingness to work overtime during winter months
