Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our maintenance team at Emterra Group. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, troubleshooting, and performing repairs and preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, including conveyor systems, motors, hydraulic units, pneumatic units, and pumps.
- Read and interpret drawings and schematics, and have knowledge of PLC, control systems, and automated programming.
- Respond to routine breakdowns and repair issues, and ensure high plant reliability through quality routine machine and plant maintenance.
- Optimize production machine performance through effective and consistent setting.
- Deliver maintenance KPIs to ensure visibility of maintenance performance and required improvement.
Requirements:
- Fully licensed Journeyperson - Industrial Mechanic / Millwright trade certificate for the province of Ontario (433A).
- 4 or more years of industrial experience, preferably in maintenance of a busy production line or maintenance involving both mechanical and electrical machinery.
- Mechanical background with a drive to further develop and learn, and a safety-first and resilient attitude to multi-task and effectively execute tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to work with internal customers and as part of a team.
