Job Overview:

Emterra Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Repair Engineer to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, including conveyor systems, motors, hydraulic units, pneumatic units, and pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documentation to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement maintenance strategies and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve maintenance processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
  • Fully licensed journeyman millwright or equivalent certification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers.
