About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Phase Consulting. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key role in supporting the technical and operational management of various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project objectives, evaluate opportunities, and optimize project concepts.
  • Lead and coordinate strategic planning, front-end processes, and risk management activities.
  • Manage project delivery from planning to closeout, ensuring safety, effective communication, procurement, quality control, and adherence to project management processes.
  • Coordinate with internal and external engineers to produce required engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with project delivery standards.
  • Monitor project status, report progress to customers and collaborators, and implement cost and productivity improvement initiatives based on best practices and insights from previous projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Diploma in Mining, Mechanical, or Processing, or a related field.
  • Registered, or eligible for registration, with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC); support for EGBC registration will be provided for eligible employees.
  • Demonstrated experience in project engineering within a heavy industrial environment, preferably mining, including expertise in all aspects of project delivery and resource management.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, with the ability to read and understand technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with project management standards and their application at various stages of project development.
