Marketing Manager Job Description

Blastworks Inc. is seeking a seasoned Marketing Manager to drive player engagement and retention strategies in our Victoria, BC studio.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing programs to activate, engage, retain, cross-sell, and increase customer lifetime value for our portfolio of successful mobile games.

You will design and execute end-to-end promotional and lifecycle-based communication programs across multiple customer segments, leveraging social media channels, email, and mobile platforms.

Partnering with internal teams to navigate strategy and execution will be a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop operational plans and execute CRM programs
  • Utilize our CRM platform to create cross-channel customer journeys using user segmentation and dynamic/triggered messaging
  • Collaborate with Product Manager and broader teams to develop and implement end-to-end journey and lifecycle campaigns
  • Work with Data Analytics team to create reporting that measures campaign effectiveness and channel-level impact
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM/direct marketing in a multifaceted and creative environment
  • Experience with a major Customer Engagement platform
  • Experience with start-to-finish planning, executing multichannel direct marketing CRM programs
  • Analytical thinker with a can-do attitude and depth of knowledge in analytics, campaign tracking, and ROI metrics
  • Excellent project management skills with a bias towards action against goals, on-time delivery, and operational excellence
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in mobile gaming or lifecycle-based business
  • Experience with Leanplum/Clevertap
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Experience with Mobile User Acquisition
  • Experience with ASO
Compensation:

$80,000 - $100,000 CAD annually

Exact compensation will be based on skills and experience.
