The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from sourcing and procurement to inventory management and distribution. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and the ability to analyze data to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve supply chain performance and reduce costs
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
- Oversee inventory management, including forecasting, ordering, and storage
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the supply chain
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize supply chain operations
- Develop and manage budgets for supply chain-related expenses
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to supply chain management
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices
- Proven track record of improving supply chain performance and reducing costs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
The Supply Chain Manager must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Some travel may be required to visit suppliers and vendors.
