Job Summary

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the entire supply chain process, from sourcing and procurement to inventory management and distribution. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies.
  • Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving.
  • Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution.
  • Analyze logistics data to improve supply chain deliverables.
  • Negotiate business relationships to improve Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Communicate with suppliers and distributors to increase market position.
  • Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
  • Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and customer service teams to implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency and/or performance.
  • Determine primary supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and suggest solutions for process improvements, identifies process bottlenecks, and implements solutions in a timely manner.
  • Examine existing procedures to identify opportunities for streamlining activities to better meet material supply requirements, equipment production timelines, and distribution deadlines.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with vendors and work with the finance, sales, and manufacturing teams to determine the best vendors and distributors.
  • Manage and oversee the activities of the Procurement Managers, Shipping & Receiving team members, Parts Assistants, and Inventory Control.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree in Business or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of working experience as a Supply Chain Manager.
  • Proven experience with supply chain management software (such as SAP MM, AP Modules, SAP Plant Maintenance, etc.).
  • Clear understanding of the supply change management's impact on the company success.
  • Strong problem-solving, priority-setting, facilitation, analytical, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinker.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field preferred.

Physical Demands

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch, and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions, including rain, wind, or excessive temperatures, and/or night and weekend work. All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt's safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $95,530.00 - 131,354.30
