About the Role

Morrison Hershfield, now part of Stantec, is seeking a highly experienced Building Science Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality building science services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement building science solutions for clients
  • Conduct site visits and perform building envelope testing
  • Prepare proposals and establish project financial budgets
  • Manage and coordinate small and large projects
  • Conduct business development to secure revenue-generating projects
  • Client management and mentoring of junior staff
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects
  • Project management experience and ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Qualification as a signing professional or pursuing registration as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect
