We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at The Greenhorizons Group of Farms Ltd.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from work sites.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lay sod or seed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our properties.
  • Cut grass to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Assist with landscape constructions to bring our designs to life.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their optimal health.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Work Environment:
  • Work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Work under pressure to meet project timelines.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks that require manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
  • Occasionally bend, crouch, or kneel to complete tasks.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work in a rural area, construction site, farm, or landscape contractor setting.
  • Ability to work in a hot, wet/damp, and dusty environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
