Job Title: Construction Labourer and Helper

The Greenhorizons Group of Farms Ltd is seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist in various tasks related to construction, landscaping, and maintenance of our farms and properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lay sod or seed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our properties.
  • Cut grass to maintain a well-manicured lawn.
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including applying fertilizers and watering plants.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Work Environment:

As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including hot and wet/damp conditions. You will also be exposed to noisy and dusty environments.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle equipment and tools.
  • Attention to detail to ensure quality work and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in construction, landscaping, or a related field is an asset.
