Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Automotive Repair and Service Shop Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive repair and service shop, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of automotive technicians, motor vehicle mechanics, apprentices, and labourers to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and ensure that all work is completed within budget.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work environment is safe and healthy.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in an automotive repair and service shop.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and able to work under pressure.
  • Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
