Job Title: Pricing Analyst

LGM Financial Services Inc. is a leading provider of warranty, finance, and insurance services to the Canadian automotive industry. Our company has been successfully supplying quality products and leading training solutions to Canadian franchised new car dealerships since 1998.

The Work:

As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing pricing structures within our organization's systems and gaining a strong understanding of products, processes, and data relevant to pricing and analytics. This role plays a key part in product launches, data validation, and process improvement to support business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement pricing models and rate cards in our quoting or pricing system.
  • Collaborate on product launches by reviewing and updating pricing-related documentation.
  • Conduct validation and testing of pricing systems through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Analyze, reconcile, and maintain data for reporting purposes, recommending improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update product or category-related guides as needed.
  • Develop knowledge of relevant industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in programming or related areas is preferred, but motivated candidates with required education qualifications and minimal experience will also be considered.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data tools like SQL is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working under deadlines and pressure.
