Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Management: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and oversee the condition of vehicles.
  • Driving Operations: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, load and unload goods, and operate straight or articulated trucks.
  • Cargo Handling: Obtain special permits, tarping, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, sitting
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, patience
Work Conditions:

The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation management and possess excellent communication skills. A permanent position with 40 to 60 hours per week is offered.

Estimated Salary:

$55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
