Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Express, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and visual merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that customers have a positive shopping experience.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including visual merchandising and inventory management.
- Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Assist in analyzing sales data and providing insights to the Store Manager to inform business decisions.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Assist in maintaining a positive and productive work environment, including resolving conflicts and addressing employee concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of retail experience, preferably in a management role.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
