Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at JEFAGRO TECHNOLOGIES INC. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to process and package food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Machinery: Safely operate multi-functional process control machinery to process and bag, box, or otherwise package food products.
  • Perform Corrective Adjustments: Perform routine maintenance and make adjustments to process variables to ensure optimal production.
  • Record Production Information: Accurately record production information, including production rates and quality control metrics.
  • Monitor Processing Conditions: Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions.
  • Clean and Maintain Equipment: Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Inform Supervisor: Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
  • Adjust Process Variables: Make adjustments to process variables to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Maintain Shift Log: Maintain a shift log of production and other data.
  • Set Up and Adjust Machinery: Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines to ensure optimal production.
  • Check Products: Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in French required.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced food processing plant environment.
  • Work Conditions: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work.
