Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at JEFAGRO TECHNOLOGIES INC. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery to process and package food products, performing corrective machine adjustments, and maintaining shift logs of production and other data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery to process and bag, box or otherwise package food products
  • Perform corrective machine adjustments
  • Operate machinery to process and bottle, can or otherwise package alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages
  • Record production information
  • Observe gauges, computer printouts and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
  • Make adjustments to process variables
  • Maintain shift log of production and other data
  • Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
  • Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy loads
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
