Job Title: Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at JEFAGRO TECHNOLOGIES INC. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and equipment in our food processing plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery to process and package food products
  • Perform corrective machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance
  • Record production information and maintain accurate records
  • Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify processing conditions
  • Clean machines and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
  • Maintain shift log of production and other data
  • Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
  • Check products for defects and ensure conformance to company standards
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
