About the Opportunity


The University of Toronto is seeking a highly qualified Research Professor in Sociolegal Studies to join its Centre for Criminology and Sociolegal Studies.



Job Summary

  • Pursue a high-impact research program with external funding

Requirements



  • Ph.D. or equivalent in social sciences, humanities, or law, with a focus on sociolegal studies
  • Excellent research and teaching record, with publications in top-tier journals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse stakeholders
  • Commitment to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in research, teaching, and service


Compensation and Benefits


The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
