Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at VINAYAK PIZZA STORE INC. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Human Resources
    • Hire food service staff, and establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
