Nurse Practitioner

- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, adhering to established standards and principles.
- Assess residents' needs, develop, and implement individualized care plans, and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with the Director of Care and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective management of nursing practice.
- Supervise and evaluate the work of nursing and personal care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in in-service education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote quality care and resident safety.
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous managerial experience in long-term care, an asset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare practices, including infection control.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with seniors and cognitively impaired individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
