About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Field Service Technician to support our customers onsite throughout Western Canada, with a focus on pressure relief valve operations.

About You

  • You have 3+ years of related industry experience, working with customers onsite and providing insitu and mobile service trailer scope.
  • You possess entrepreneurial work ethic, strong problem-solving ability, and detail-oriented skills with a focus on safety and quality.
  • You are self-directed, able to work independently, and effectively interface with internal and external customers.
  • You hold a valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license and have a safe driving record, with a willingness to travel extended periods.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide on-demand field service support to our customer base.
  • Perform PRV onsite unit operations, insitu testing, and servicing of relief valves using assisted lift devices and inline machining equipment.
  • Involvement in all aspects of the service/sales cycle, including scheduling, scope, and assisting the service and management teams.
  • Telephone customer support for valve service requests and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct in-house service and production work when not in the field.
  • Interfacing with internal and external customers, with short-term availability for last-minute requests.

About the Role

This position requires interprovincial travel and has been deemed as Safety Sensitive. As such, you will be required to pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug test, as well as frequent pre-access testing to access customer sites.
