Flowserve, a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems, is seeking a skilled Senior Control Valve Service Specialist to join their team.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, Flowserve offers annual bonuses, medical benefits on day 1, generous paid vacation time, paid holidays, and many other excellent benefits.

About the Job:

This senior-level position involves providing expert technical support to customers in the field, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and soliciting sales and installation of spare parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control valve technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment in the field, including Flowserve Control Valve products and competitor's valves
  • Provide technical phone support to customers and answer questions to solve problems
  • Collaborate with engineering department to evaluate failures and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze returned parts and equipment for failure evaluation
  • Conduct diagnostic testing on control valves and interpret results using various software tools
  • Configure, calibrate, and commission digital equipment manufactured by Flowserve, including proficiency in HART, MODBUS, and Foundation Fieldbus protocols

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in control valve service or related field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and regulations
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software applications
  • Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
