Job Summary:
As a seasoned leader in the Canadian construction industry, we are seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team at CO_30 TC1 Bird Industrial Management Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically directing the operations of our Industrial East division, with a focus on achieving growth targets and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the integration of services acquired through the Insulation division acquisition, ensuring seamless alignment with our strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance and expand our operations within the construction industry, with a particular emphasis on insulation, scaffolding, coatings, and fireproofing sectors.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify market opportunities, develop business strategies, and drive revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, with a particular focus on highly regulated environments such as the Nuclear industry.
- Direct complex project portfolios, overseeing project execution, risk management, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of senior managerial expertise as well as proven experience in multimillion (over $100 Million), large and complex construction projects in urbanized environments.
- Ability to develop corporate strategies and long-term plans.
- Deep understanding of industry regulations and standards, particularly in highly regulated environments such as the Nuclear industry.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
