Job Title: Project Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead our projects from initiation to completion. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver projects successfully.
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, including project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Quality Management: Ensure that all projects meet the required quality standards, and that any quality issues are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that projects are delivered with minimal risk.
  • Communication: Ensure effective communication with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management, providing regular project updates and progress reports.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in leading projects, ideally in aerospace, involving multi-site, cross-functional teams.
  • Qualifications: Degree in Engineering and/or Business-Related program, Project Management accreditation (e.g., PMP designation), and 6 Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt is an asset.
  • Skills: Business Acumen, Team building skills, Critical thinking & Problem-solving skills, Conflict management, Timely decision-making, and Computer literate (MS Office, MS Project, Excel).
