Project Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to join our Ontario Transportation Group in Markham, Canada.
The successful candidate will lead a wide range of municipal planning and design projects, providing exposure to and opportunities for growth in business development, staff management, and operations management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead multi-disciplinary teams for preliminary and detail design road and bridge projects for municipal clients.
- Take ownership for all aspects of the management of projects from proposal to close-out, including managing teams, sub-consultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to intermediate and junior staff.
- Owning the integration with other engineering disciplines, engineers, and design staff in the production of high-quality project deliverables.
- Promote best practices and leadership in the delivery of Highway, Road, and Bridge Projects.
- Support Business Development including capture planning and leading proposals.
- Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering.
- 20+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects, including project management experience.
- Experience working with municipal transportation clients within the Greater Toronto Area.
- Proven track record to develop, mentor, and lead professional technical staff.
