Food Service Team Leader

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Hut. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, customer service, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all menu items are prepared to a high standard.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet demand.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, working closely with management to optimize our financial performance.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to support business decisions.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring that our team is always adequately staffed and prepared to meet customer demand.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring a high level of organization and attention to detail. You will be working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Free parking is available on site, and the position offers a permanent contract with 40 hours per week. The working language is English, and we are open to considering candidates who are willing to relocate to support their career development.
