Executive Director of Tourism Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead the day-to-day operations, programs, and services of Travel Nunavut. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the organization's mandate and objectives, working closely with staff and partners to implement effective management and organizational strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Lead the execution of Travel Nunavut's programs and services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with staff and partners in Nunavut to implement initiatives that support the development and business success of our members.
- Oversee the measurement and evaluation of program outcomes to ensure effective delivery and impact.
We are looking for a leader who is passionate about working with businesses and organizations to achieve success in serving consumers and business partners. You should have strong leadership skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to leverage the unique skills of your team members for the best interests of the organization and its members.
Fluency in Inuktitut is ideal, but not required. You should be comfortable with challenges and be willing to adapt to a rapidly growing and changing organization. A university degree in business administration, tourism management, international development, or a related field is preferred, but not necessary if you have equivalent skills and experience.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $145,000 to $165,000 annually, housing and Northern living allowances, relocation assistance, bonus, and RRSP contribution program.
