We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Dawson Creek Clinic Pharmacy.
Job Summary:The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will provide administrative and technical support to our pharmacy team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities. This role will involve a variety of tasks, including maintaining accurate records, preparing medications, and assisting pharmacists with patient care.
Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient prescriptions and medication inventory.
- Prepare medications for clients, including compounding and packaging.
- Assist pharmacists with patient care, including answering questions and providing information.
- Perform general clerical duties, such as answering phones and responding to emails.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the pharmacy and surrounding areas.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
- 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
The Pharmacy Technical Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of pharmacists and support staff. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
