About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Civil and Infrastructure team at Pomerleau Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple activities and deadlines to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project schedules.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review and interpret construction schedules, shop drawings, and project completion documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collect and analyze project quotes to ensure the best prices are obtained.
  • Own the collection and completion of companywide project reports for assigned projects.
  • Promote Pomerleau's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) programs and applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes with all employees and trade partners on-site.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' experience in the construction industry.
  • University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
  • Proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.
  • Passion for providing exceptional client service.
  • Availability for a rotation of 14 days of work followed by 7 days off.
  • Mobility for travel from Quebec to British Columbia.
