Job Description

**About the Role**

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions that improve service reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Partner with external platform teams to build and enhance tooling and automation solutions for faster resolution of customer issues.
  • Design and implement changes to service telemetry to support automation and proactive alerting.
  • Analyze data and provide operational insights to inform product design and development.
  • Engage with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SRE or SWE, with a focus on cloud services and automation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
  • Experience with automation languages like PowerShell or Python.
  • Strong understanding of Observability and MELT design patterns.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum/Lean Methodology.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
