About the Role:

The MEIT Project Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the Mechanical, Electrical and Information Technology scopes of work for construction projects. This includes preparing construction schedules, monitoring project costs, and ensuring accurate quality reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the Mechanical, Electrical and Information Technology scopes of work for construction projects.
  • Prepare regular and accurate billings for mechanical and electrical components.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure accurate quality reporting.
  • Review and approve changes to project scope and subcontractor prices.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on project delivery and performance.
  • Plan and manage the Mechanical, Electrical and Information Technology components of construction projects.
  • Lead project meetings and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Provide a focal point for client liaison and communication.
  • Review and improve departmental processes and procedures.
  • Establish policies and procedures to ensure high-quality services and timely deliverables.
  • Manage the commissioning program for building systems.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical construction management.
  • Full understanding of maintenance and life-cycle budgeting.
  • Proven experience with statutory and mandatory compliances and legislation.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload with limited supervision.
