As a key member of our public safety team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to the public, Municipal Enforcement Officers, and other third-party clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to incoming calls and messages, utilizing relevant police databases and communication devices.
  • Triage requests for service to determine the appropriate follow-up or action required, ensuring the safety of Municipal Enforcement Officers.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, utilizing software and computer systems.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of direct related experience in a police communications environment or emergency communications.
  • National RCMP Telecommunications Operator Course or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass RCMP Security Clearance prior to employment and maintain clearance throughout employment.
  • 50wpm typing accuracy.
  • Ability to work shift work, including evenings and weekends.

What We Offer:

A competitive hourly rate of $32.66 to $34.58, plus opportunities for professional growth and development.
