Leading Practice Speech Language Pathologist

This is a part-time position based in Oshawa and Whitby, Ontario.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a Leading Practice SLP. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and implementing SLP interventions in a home-based setting, using a collaborative and interdisciplinary team-based approach to care and services.
You will leverage our digital health platforms to support care delivery, collaboration, documentation, and intervention, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop tailored care plans and interventions that empower patients to reclaim their independence and thrive in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities- Assessment and implementation of SLP interventions (i.e. swallowing assessments, dysphagia management, communication, etc.) in a home-based setting
- Use of a collaborative and interdisciplinary team-based approach to care and services
- Support a holistic and restorative approach to care (i.e. enhanced stroke pathway; cognitive communication supports, etc.)
