Job Summary:

The Email Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing email nurturing workflows to promote our products and services to existing customers. This role will require a strong understanding of email marketing best practices, as well as the ability to analyze program effectiveness and iterate to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute email nurturing workflows to drive customer engagement and retention
  • Apply the EDC brand to all digital initiatives and represent the voice of the customer throughout the exporter journey
  • Accelerate digital marketing expertise through sharing results, digital best practices, processes, and internal digital capabilities
  • Analyze program effectiveness and continuously iterate to drive results
  • Incorporate Generative AI in the writing and nurturing strategies
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in digital marketing, marketing automation, or related digital CX field
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
  • Experience executing a targeted digital marketing program based on customer insights
  • Experience with marketing measurement frameworks
Assets:
  • Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
  • Experience with AGILE Scrum framework
  • B2B/Financial services marketing experience
  • Email automation experience using Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce, or other email automation and CRM platforms
  • Familiarity with web analytics platforms, variable testing, tracking codes, parameters, and their relationship to databases
Salary Range:

Marketing Generalist 17: Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $81,012 to $108,017 plus a performance-based incentive.

Location:

Export Development Canada is a hybrid work environment. This role may be performed from EDC's headquarters in Ottawa, or from the Community Hub in Toronto or Montreal. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
