Hotel Cleaning Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Cleaning Attendant to join our team at NPC/Sandman Hotel Group. This is a permanent position with an estimated salary of $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the hotel's facilities are clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, be physically fit, and able to work independently.

The job duties will include:

  • Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors;
  • Dusting furniture and fixtures;
  • Vacuuming carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture;
  • Making beds and changing sheets;
  • Distributing clean towels and toiletries;
  • Stocking linen closets;
  • Cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances;
  • Cleaning and disinfecting elevators;
  • Handling and reporting lost and found items;
  • Attending to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items;
  • Providing basic information on hotel facilities;
  • Picking up debris and emptying trash containers;
  • Washing windows, walls, and ceilings;
  • Addressing customers' complaints or concerns.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • The ability to work independently;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education;
  • At least 1 month of experience in a related field;
  • A valid Canadian work permit (if applicable).
