Cleaning Professional Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Professional to join our team at Clarity Cleaning Ltd. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to a high standard
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process
  • Provide basic information on facilities to clients and visitors
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses to maintain accurate records
  • Invoice clients in a timely and efficient manner
Work Environment:

As a Cleaning Professional, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleaning is maintained.

Requirements:
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential for this role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and between 45 and 60 kg (100-132 lbs) as required
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a variety of settings, including commercial buildings, health care institutions, and hotels
