Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Equipment Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at Canaweld Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of electrical equipment, ensuring high-quality products, and leading a team of skilled workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 workers, including assemblers, inspectors, and machine operators.
  • Prepare and submit reports on production progress, quality control, and team performance.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Train or arrange for training of team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Set up machines and equipment, and requisition or order materials and supplies as needed.
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 5 years or more of experience in electrical equipment manufacturing.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an urban area, with a 37.5-hour workweek and a permanent work term.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
