We are a boutique specialty food store dedicated to providing exceptional quality products and services to our customers. Our team is passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience, and we are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly experienced Baker to work in our bakery department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes, as well as assisting the Executive Chef with menu planning and inventory management.
Responsibilities- Prepare a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes
- Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning and inventory management
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
- Work efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales and customer service goals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience as a Baker
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- A competitive hourly rate of $18.00-$25.00
