Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and a team player attitude, with a client-focused approach.
