Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Booster Juice. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports and supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical demands.

  • Excellent oral communication and flexibility.
  • Team player with initiative and dependability.

Work Environment:

  • Noisy, odorous, and wet/damp work site environment.
  • On-site customer service and fast food outlet or concession work setting.

Education:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Work Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week.
