Our Expectations

The successful candidate will report to the FP&A Manager and lead revenue analyses for RONA's corporately owned stores and its Pro (B2B) business. The chosen candidate will support the finance team and business partners in tracking results, action plans, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning to achieve financial objectives.

Your Role

  • You'll act as a financial business partner to the Operations and Pro team leaders.
  • You'll analyze and interpret financial results related to sales and margins for corporate stores.
  • You'll participate in forecasts and budgets for the Pro & Retail business and monitor variances between actual results and the budget on a periodic basis.
  • You'll support business partners in developing action plans and monitoring results.
  • You'll conduct ad-hoc analysis to explain results and identify opportunities.
  • You'll participate in business cases for new projects and make recommendations on them.

Qualifications We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly motivated individual with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial role.
  • Experience in the retail industry is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, synthesis skills, and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain financial concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, including Excel.
