Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Columbia St. Liquor Store Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train staff to ensure they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assign Sales Workers: Assign sales workers to duties to ensure the store is adequately staffed and customers are being served efficiently.
  • Manage Inventory: Manage inventory levels to ensure the store is well-stocked and merchandise is being sold effectively.
  • Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform management decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. The store is open 32 to 40 hours per week, and the successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
