Ignis Global Recruitment is seeking a driven and self-sufficient Senior/Associate Fire Engineer to join their expanding team on the Gold Coast. The ideal candidate will have 5-6+ years of experience in fire engineering and a Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with postgraduate studies in fire engineering.

We are looking for a well-structured thinker who can produce concise reports that clearly outline proposed solutions with low liability risk, supporting straightforward project approvals. Key responsibilities include supervision and mentoring of junior engineers, meeting with the fire brigade and advocating performance solutions, using computer programs such as FDS, CFAST, and Firewind, reviewing reports to company quality standards, and addressing administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to secure approval for innovative and safe solutions. A solid understanding of fire code reform and regulatory acceptance from state and national bodies is essential. The role also involves producing reports and documents that meet company standards.
