Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our team at Atlas Granite Inc. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Supervision and Training: Train and supervise accounting staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate potential financial risks.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Quick Books, and Simply Accounting.
