Job Summary

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for training workers in duties and policies, preparing and submitting reports, and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
Work Environment

The Accounting Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be organized, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to work independently.

Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience
