Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions, and providing technical advice to staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to accounting staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of accounting equipment and software.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Financial Transactions: Ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Work Coordination: Coordinate and assign work tasks to staff members, review their progress, and provide feedback.
  • Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work as required.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Work Environment:

The Accounting Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
