About the Opportunity

The Renewable Energy Systems Integrator is responsible for designing and implementing control systems that integrate multiple sub-systems to meet the operational and regulatory needs of our clients.

This role involves developing and implementing logic for assigned project tasks, including client and contractor coordination, logic development & testing, and ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.

The Renewable Energy Systems Integrator will work closely with our technical team to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard and that our clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control systems for renewable energy projects
  • Develop and implement logic for assigned project tasks
  • Coordinate with clients and contractors to ensure project success
  • Test and commission control systems to ensure they meet operational and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure high-quality project delivery

Requirements

  • 2-year technical degree
  • 4-7 years of experience in industrial control systems, integration of robotics systems, or programming in a related field
  • Renewable energy industry experience, particularly in wind, PV, and BESS
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architectures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel 25-35% of the time
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Must possess a valid Canadian Driver's License and ability to meet company driving standards
